Product pages often place flexible, bendable, poseable, and curved side by side, as if they were levels on the same scale. They are not. One word describes movement, another describes shape, and neither necessarily tells you how soft the surface feels.
The quickest way through the terminology is to ask what happens after you move the product. Does it return toward its original curve, hold the angle you set, or keep one preset shape?

The small print after the label is usually more helpful than the label itself.
A Flexible Body That Returns
A flexible dildo yields when pressure changes. Some return toward a natural shape rather than staying where you bend them.
Eros IV is a clear example. Its body follows movement, then returns toward its gentle natural curve. That makes “flexible” an accurate description, but not “poseable.” It also does not tell you whether the size will suit you; length and diameter still need their own look.
This is the useful distinction to find on any product page: not simply whether the body bends, but whether it comes back.
A Structure That Holds the Angle
“Bendable” can be frustratingly vague. If holding an angle matters to you, the page should say so plainly.
A poseable dildo goes one step further by naming the structure that helps keep a manually set curve. Eros III, for example, has an inner support that holds the curve set by hand. Its instructions call for gradual shaping and warn against sharp folds, twisting, or forcing an extreme angle. It should also be stored without a tight bend.
That extra control comes with extra handling. Poseable does not mean endlessly adjustable, and it says nothing by itself about surface softness.
A Curve That Stays Preset
Some products arrive with the angle already built into their design. The body may still flex, but the curve itself is not something you set.
Eros V has a flexible body with a pronounced preset curve. Its 5.9-inch insertable length and 1.57-inch diameter tell you the size; the preset arc tells you the shape. It is not presented as poseable.
This is why two products can look equally curved in a photograph but behave very differently in the hand. The Deep structure guide places the current Wavvve structures side by side.
Curved Is a Shape, Not an Opposite
A dildo can be curved and flexible, curved and poseable, or curved with one preset profile. “Curved” only tells you the geometry.
That sounds like a small distinction, but it changes the shopping question. Instead of asking whether a product is curved, ask whether you want to change that curve—and what you expect the body to do afterward.
Structure and Firmness Are Different
Surface feel comes from material and construction. Shape behavior comes from the way the full product is built. They can interact, but one does not determine the other.
A product can have:
- a soft outer layer over a more supportive core;
- a consistent material that flexes freely;
- a flexible body around an internal poseable support; or
- a preset curve with no claim that it holds a new position.
In other words, flexible is not a synonym for soft, and poseable is not a synonym for firm. A useful product page describes the surface and the internal structure separately.
Compare Size and Weight After Structure
Once the structure makes sense, return to the measurements. Insertable length and diameter describe the usable profile; total length and weight help you picture handling and storage.

- Eros III is poseable and listed at 7.28 inches insertable, 1.77 inches in diameter, and 490 g;
- Eros IV has a flexible natural curve and is listed at 5.12 inches insertable, 1.38 inches in diameter, and 205 g; and
- Eros V has a pronounced preset curve and is listed at 5.9 inches insertable, 1.57 inches in diameter, and 300 g.
Those numbers are not a comfort ranking. They simply show how much variation can sit behind three structural labels. The live Deep size table contains the full current series.
Let the Structure Guide the Care Routine
Current Wavvve Deep products call for water-based lubricant, but the rest of the routine depends on the design.
Poseable supports need their stated shaping and storage instructions. Textured or sculpted forms need attention around detailed areas and should dry completely. The Wavvve care guide covers the shared routine; each product page carries the details that are unique to that design.
A Simpler Way to Read the Product Page
Try replacing the label with a sentence: “This body returns toward its natural curve,” “this inner support holds the curve I set,” or “this product keeps one preset arc.” Then add the dimensions and care instructions.
If the page lets you finish that sentence without guessing, you know far more than “flexible” or “curved” could tell you on its own.
